Official Language
English is the official language. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

The Netherlands is in the Central European Time Zone. Central European Summer Time (CEST) is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (UTC/GMT+2).

*) A student is defined as an MSc, MA or ME student. To be eligible for a student fee, a copy of your student identification card or a letter of recommendation by your supervisor is required. The copy should be faxed or emailed to the Congress Office. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Hotel registration
For SASBE2009, special hotel prices are available if you book your hotel room through together with your registration.
Hotel prices include breakfast, the city tax is not included (approx. € 2,- per person, per night).
To guarantee your hotel reservation a hotel deposit of € 100 is required and will be charged together with the registration fee.
The hotel deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill when checking out.
You will be notified by the SASBE2009 Congress Office in case the hotel of your choice is not available anymore.
If you want to change your hotel reservation or make an (additional) hotel booking after you have already submitted your registration you will be invoiced for € 10 administration costs.

Cancellation
Registered participants may cancel their registration until 18 May 2009. There is a cancellation fee of € 100. The rest of the registration fee as well as the hotel deposit will be refunded after the conference.
There is no refund of registration fee, social events and hotel deposit for cancellations received after 18 May 2009.
If you need to cancel or change your hotel reservation, please inform the SASBE 2009 Congress Office immediately, as participants will be invoiced for non-occupancy of reserved rooms.
Cancellations must be done in writing (e-mail, regular mail or fax).
Liability
The Organising Committee cannot accept any responsibility for personal accidents or damage to private property of the participants. Participants are advised to take out insurance, where they consider it necessary.
The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the conference be hindered or prevented by unforeseen political or economical events or by force majeure, or should non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes.
With his/her registration the participant accepts this proviso.
Passports and Visa
Please consult your local Netherlands Consulate concerning passport or visa requirements well ahead of time.
